Spoleto Restaurant
When Spoleto’s Italian Kitchen, a popular Brazilian franchise expanded its US presence to Irvine California, marking its first West Coast location, they chose the Class A property at University Center, adjacent to the University of California, Irvine. This casual / family Italian eatery combined the speed of quick service with the sophistication of gourmet-quality food, creating a unique spin on Italian dining. For J&J, our mission was to bring this special and open concept space to life.
Features included high end custom finishes that created an old-world rustic ambiance, along with functionality. These were brought together inside a 2,800 square foot space that incorporated a visible kitchen service area, an open dining room, an exterior patio, and an app-based call ahead ordering system, with a highly efficient point of sale delivery concept for on-the-go patrons. Back of house features included a full kitchen equipment package, prep / washroom areas, executive offices, and restrooms, along with all new electrical, mechanical, plumbing services and Ansul fire suppression systems. Highlighted finishes comprised of new custom tables, chairs, and countertops (FF&E), service cuing line millwork, porcelain tile, paint, custom stained concrete flooring, glass storefront, unique open ceiling elements, custom lighting, and a proprietary branded Pandelier lighting system package that distinguished the unique brand.
