SDG&E Energy and Innovation Center

Turning a tired retail building into a showcase for energy efficiency and environmentally friendly technologies was the goal for this ambitious project. Designed to host community organizations, workshops and seminars, the building’s extensive renovations included installing a smart green home exhibit, a working demonstration kitchen, a stunning lobby, offices and expansive common areas.

Specifics of this project included LEED Platinum certification, an extensive roof top solar array, installation of a living wall, solar trees in the parking lot and state-of-the-art electrical, plumbing and HVAC technologies.
