Background:
As Chief Financial Officer and COO, Naomi Lohnes is instrumental in J&J’s success by managing all financial aspects of the business including both day-to-day transactions and long-term economic strategy and forecasting. Additionally, Naomi charts the company’s growth through strategic client and partner relationships. Her holistic philosophy fosters an environment at J&J that is unique in its employee support and respect, garnering long-term dedicated employees.
Naomi’s loyalty and passion for J&J is evident in her over three decades of leadership, service and commitment to the company. Joining J&J in 1986, Naomi has been a primary part of the company and has been instrumental in the firm’s financial success and growth as well as shaping its corporate values and distinctive culture. Naomi pilots the company with a unique skill set of unsurpassed emotional intelligence, relentless integrity, business savvy and intuition honed over numerous decades in the commercial construction industry.
In 2004, she and Donna Vargo joined forces to take over managing the operations of the firm. The duo acquired J&J in 2013, and since then company revenue has surged by 50 percent and the firm has expanded into Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside counties.
A lifelong passionate supporter of animals, Naomi is overjoyed to be an individual and corporate donor to the San Diego Humane Society.
Notable Project
TrueCare (formerly NCHS)
One of J&J’s brand pillars is “Empowerment” so it is no surprise that the project that has left the greatest impact on Naomi is North County Health Services-Mission Mesa Campus. NCHS is a safe, beautiful, and comfortable healthcare resource for both women and children in the San Diego County area. “J&J’s work to transform these facilities speaks to the importance we place in giving back and uplifting the community that we live in.”
